facility that sourced three distinct production lines for domestic and
international markets. Supervised a Purchasing Manager, a Production
Planning Manager, Stock Room Manager and a Shipping Manager in the control
of material volume and price, the company's single largest expense.
. Developed and implemented an aggressive Just In Time program that
increased turnover 30%, cut lead time in half and allowed for
elimination of 10,000 square feet of warehouse space.
. Executed a vendor certification program that produced annual savings
of $900,000 or 5%.
. Instituted a tracking system and negotiated supplier agreements that
effectively held net inflation to 1.5%, significantly less than

Financial Analysis and Accounting (1980 - 1989)
