The XCALIBUR system is supply chain planning being used by Skyworks Systems

(leading wireless semi-conductor chip anufacturing company based in USA).

In the backend, tables and views are prepared according to actual and

forecasted demand ver a pre-stipulated planning horizon. The inputs to this

system come from three sources:

SAP

PROMIS VAX System

User entered data, through the Adexa Interface

The output is a number of reports published in MS Excel.

The OEE system is a part of the supply chain system for Skyworks and

monitored lots at the shop floor level. Taking input from PROMIS (as text

files) and users through a Developer 6i Forms user interface.The output is

a number of reports published on the intranet using HTML and Developer 6i

Reports and Graphics.

The project entailed maintaining the current systems and migrating them to

a new environment after the spin-off of Skyworks from Conexant. It also

involved enhancing and modifying the system as per Skyworks business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities

backend. They follow the same underlying methodology. The inputs come in

form of text files, user entered data using Oracle developer forms and

excel sheets. Upon load the data is processed using a set business rules

are coded in PL/SQL. The output is a series of reports in HTML, Oracle

Developer Reports and Graphics and text reports used by third party

reporting tools.

The project involved maintaining and enhancing multiple systems as per user

requirements.
