Regional Account Manager (RAM) for Middle East Africa and India Region based in Dubai for A/c Trane SA, Wisconsin Based Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturing Company.

Regions covered were Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Turkey, South Africa, Egypt, Kuwait, Yemen, & India

As RAM, I was responsible for:

- Maintain Lanes of Communications within the Region, Liaison with Trane Sales Engineers, & Expeditors Operational staff - Co ordinate Purchase Orders & Readiness of Goods, ETA, ETD, and Shipping Details.

- Update Tariffs, Liaison with Carriers for Special Rates Co ordinate with Expeditors Head Quarter Ocean Director, File Rates with Carriers Co - Ordinate with EI / Trane Warehouses and ensure data is updated in the systems, Assist Trane Sales Engineers for load plan for Containers, to achieve max product loadability (70%) and provide Statue Reports such as L/C Reports, On hand Reports, Shipping Status Report and Cycle Time Status Report).

- Establish & Maintain Local Standard Operating Procedures: Meet Trane Sales Engineers and Expeditors Operational staff in order to establish Standard Operating Procedures for each and every Product Lanes, Countries Local Customs Rules and Regulations, Door Delivery & Offloading Procedures.

- Drive Service Improvements for Efficiency: Liaison with Expeditors Sales and Operational Staff constantly, Drive Improvements towards handling Trane’s Distributors, Delivery Sites, Follow SOPs, Update SOPs, and provide Status Reports on time.

- Maintain & update Door to Door Account Profiles: Establish & Update Tariffs for Door Deliveries for individual Distributors and ultimate user and Register and changes in the Tariffs from time to time.

- Perform Scheduled Score Card Reviews within Region: Meet Trane Sales Engineers and Expeditors Operational and Sales Staff to review Score Cards every quarterly.

- Travel within the Region every quarter: Travel to all the Expeditors Offices in the Region & meet the Trane Sales Engineers & Distributors in the respective the region and discuss developments and SOPs, Operational Issues, Tariffs Follow Trane’s Sales Engineers requirements

1999 to 2003 Expeditors International – India (set up Hyderabad Office)

Sales Manager, Set up Hyderabad Office, liaison with all Expeditors offices worldwide, coordinate with existing exclusive Expeditors Customers, Local and International sales calls/visits Handle Warehousing and Distribution Services for Lucent Technologies Inc.

2003 to 2007 Called back to Expeditors International, Dubai
