LYNN SANDAGE

I am a multimedia artist/teacher with a strong academic background & a
lifetime of seeking/finding solutions. From exploring the visual arts,
music, writing & incarnation, from healing thereby & from teaching all

of AGAPE. I want to help children learn how to learn! That way they can
become lifetime problem solvers as I am.

recommendation of Middlebury College French Professor Carol Rifelj,
certified oral proficiency tester & former head of Middlebury's French
Language School in Paris, France. Renewal deferred due to my
disappointment with approach of public school system as it marginalizes or
excludes my fields of competence. Looking for a place to teach where I can
share with students creatively, rather than conform to clearly failed
practices.

I am also a very good cook and beginning gardener. Am a lifelong student
of history. Some thirty or so of my letters-to-editor have been published
throughout Vermont. It has been my pleasure to host numerous dinner
parties where intelligent conversation is encouraged. Have written a new
play, My Wheel Deal. Am revising my book-length Ode to An Aborted
Daughter. Have discovered a wide variety of methods for healing emotions
that can easily be taught to children!
I am privileged to have studied with Meyer Schapiro, Nathan Oliviera, Peter
Agostini and Kenneth Baldridge---to have shared the stage or altar with Bob
Dylan, Tom Paxton, Zela Terry, Aim e Andr and Greg Vitercik---and to have
worked with Joseph Papp at The NY Public and The Delacorte Theaters. My
intervention w/ Creative Alternatives to Prison succeeded in changing law
in nation's capitol to permit criminals (normally imprisoned) to serve
community under benevolent surveillance. Method proved to considerably
reduce recidivism rate!
Those who exploited my good will have taught me important lessons. I
welcome any position that offers the possibility of engaging truth and
creativity. We are in the death throes of the old, moving toward the GREAT
SHIFT--- from ego-centered to love-centered civilization. It is my
privilege and passion to help mitigate the considerable damage egomaniacs
continue to wreak on society. My gifts witness to the unfailing help we
receive when we call on Creator for guidance in the ongoing struggle.
As a theatrical personality, am able to assume characteristics required to
honor taboos associated with the job, though I prefer being open, even when
this may cause some discomfort in those attached to unyielding (sometimes
abusive) patterns. It has taken me a very long time to develop into
someone who has so much to offer. Am not competitive but rather
cooperative in style.
Note: If we do not encourage and support the creativity & integrity we
were born with to flourish, then how can we hope to climb out of this
general mess we are experiencing in society right now? Letters of
recommendation, CD's of music, cards based on artwork, poetry, news
coverage of events, letters-to-editor available on request. You may count
on my discretion, dedication, humility and total sobriety. Though I am an
older person, my health & energy level are EXCELLENT as have studied
profoundly ways to rejuvenate & be attuned with enthusiasm for each new
day.
