Director of Computer Systems Services, 1984 -1987
Managed the installation of the Welfare Management System. This system is
currently the largest of its kind in the nation. The new system consolidated three
separate large databases and systems into one online, relational, interactive and
user-friendly system. Led the installation project by directing a staff of over 300
systems analysts, designers, testers and trainers. The system supported over 100
offices, 1.2 million clients, and 8,500 users and took 18 months to install.
