Job description involved handling 50 plus drivers, maintaining each drivers safety record, compliance, and
maintenance on each truck. I was expected to keep in high percentage of drivers available each day to meet expected
revenue for each day.
Load Planner/ Freight Coordinator Responsibilities:
This involved assigning loads to drivers, communication with customers and brokers.
Having great communication skills with customer was top priority. Discussion of certain lanes and/or freight that
needed transported. This involved discussion of rates once an agreement was made and a contract would be set into
place. Track and trace load for customers and brokers. Constant communication per phone/emails to negotiate rates.
