CONSULTANT - Managing all critical contractual aspects of company's 3PL
provider. Created a metric based distribution environment with root cause
analysis. Assisting with client's customer improvement process. Implemented
and monitored a Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) program.
Creating a Gain Share/Pain Share program for vendors, employees, and
carriers.
OPERATIONAL Through the CAPA program the following metrics were
increased at the
TURNAROUND 3PL site: Cycle Counts from 95% to 99%; Order accuracy from 96%
to 99%; Returns reduced from 4% to 1/2 %
of monthly shipments. Also, through the CAPA program
SOPs were bridged between the OEM and the 3PL.
KEY RESULTS Met the challenge of improving customer service by initiating
quarterly
customer site visits to create, and subsequently discuss, customer
monthly performance metrics - (QBR).
