Professional Experience and Accomplishments

1988-Present Self-employed Greenville, Spartanburg, and Laurens Counties, SC

Developed four residential subdivisions, between 1998 and 2007, with all infrastructure: storm sewer,

sanitary sewer, water, underground power and gas, rollover curbing, paved streets. Worked closely

with engineers and contractors on every aspect of each project.

Acquired land and contracted for new homes to be built, which were then marketed and sold.

Worked with both customers and clients in the purchase and sale of residential and commercial

properties.

Managed own rental properties for the past 19 years, having an inventory of between 15 and 57 during

that time. Currently have 20. Oversee all rehab when required.

Participated in over 100 closings, working with customers, lenders, attorneys, surveyors, appraisers,

inspectors, contractors, auctioneers, and others to achieve desired goals.

Broker-in-charge of a real estate company from 1995-1998, of which I was co-owner.

Education

Received the MSSC Production Technician Certificate for Safety, Quality Practices & Measurement,

Manufacturing Processes & Production, and Maintenance Awareness as issued by the Manufacturing

Skill Standards Council, in 2010, with an average test score of 93.5.

Graduated from Furman University with a BA in Economics.

Personal

Life-long resident of the upstate of South Carolina. Married, no children. Member of Gateway Baptist Church. Avid tennis player

(captain of a 3.5 team, which enjoyed an undefeated Spring, going 14-0).
