Member of MRO team (Maintenance/Repair/Operations) leading Chrysler-driven
program to revert former point-of-use operation back to centralized tool
store operation for inventory control of non-production stock at Toledo
South Assembly Complex. Reduced inventory costs through adjustments in
usage/activity class, float levels, and identification of E&O stock for
removal/scrap. Provide Chrysler plant scorecard for open orders, inventory
values, etc. Supervise UAW staff in central tools stores.
Schedule/supervise periodic inventory cycle counts by hourly staff.
Receipt/disbursement validation of incoming/outgoing stock.
Front line approval for MRO purchases at South Plant. Expedite hot parts,
order follow-up, non-conformance tracking. Function within Chrysler non-
production part database (NPIC); execute crib-to-crib transfers, plant-to-
plant transfers, and control North Plant's Paint Department (+$1 million
inventory) to provide seamless maintenance operation. Administer Total
Chemical Management Program (inside contractor) for both North/South
facilities. Customer service to maintenance/productions staffs.
Report to SDE NPM Manager and Chrysler Production Control Manager,
supervise/discipline four tool stores attendants (UAW employees), process
UAW payroll for central stores' employees.

sourcing, freight consolidation, material handling and inventory reduction
of non-production stock.
Supervisor - Inventory Management Solution-Chrysler Toledo North Assembly
Plant
Member of team leading project to conversion of virtual-storage system
capturing non-production inventory and its related challenges at Chrysler's
Toledo Assembly Complex. Implemented state-of-the-art inventory control
process to identify 30,000 non-production parts inventory through bar-
coding, automatic tool dispensing through Point of Use dispensing machines,
Virtual Storage Space locations and a Smart Inventory Management database
(SIM), which functioned parallel to Chrysler's non-production parts
database. Non-Conformance tracking and resolution, crib-to-crib and plant-
to-plant transfers; expedite hot parts; customer service to maintenance and
production staffs, vendor management, and open order follow-up. Daily
review of equipment/inventory dispensing units for compliance,
functionality, accurate loading by hourly staff.
Report to Project Launch Coordinator and Chrysler Production Control
Manager; supervise/discipline five UAW tool store attendants. Collaboration
with four enterprise partners (procurement, logistics, dispensing machines,
and warehouse) ensuring smooth operational flow and targeting cost
reductions in the partnership areas of processing, stocking, distributing,
and inventory cost reduction.
