Sr. Executive Secretary
Provided executive assistance/administrative support to President during his promotions to CTO, COO and
finally, CEO during 10 year evolution of Fiberstars, Inc.: included physical office relocations, corporate
relocation, and staffing changes.
FIBERSTARS, INC., Solon, Ohio
Executive Secretary to CEO 2005 to 2008
Provided administrative support as Solon office became corporate; was responsible for prescreening and
recommending candidates for sales and marketing, finance, customer service and manufacturing.
• Assumed duties of human resources manager and interior space planner, ran safety meetings, and arranged
for travel, hotels and transportation for 25 new employees. Coordinated executive retreats,
board meetings, annual shareholders meetings, and company-wide events.
• Handled investor relations, coordinated investor relation packets, and kept track of top-10 investors,
developing and maintaining good relations.
Executive Secretary to COO/CTO 1999 to 2005
Coordinated extensive travel for investor road shows and investor conferences. Arranged quarterly DARPA

• Scheduled meetings and extensive domestic and international travel; organized expense reports, set up car
leases, mobile phones, and video equipment; coordinated company wide meetings, worked with marketing
on company catalogue printing, and coordinated sales meetings.
• As Unison proved unsuccessful and was bought out by Fiberstars, Inc., remained with President to provide
executive assistance/support. Closed down Unison offices and transferred all sales and marketing inventory
and office equipment to Fiberstars corporate office in Fremont, CA.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT/CORPORATE RELOCATION
• As Fiberstars, Inc. of California closed and Solon office became its headquarters(2005), found counterparts
for finance, accounting, sales and marketing, and customer service professionals
and facilitated their integration into the company.
o Oversaw hiring process: ran newspaper ads, contacted head hunters, prescreened and
recommended candidates
o Coordinated travel, hotels and transportation for 25 new Solon employees-in-training. Handled
legal matters and assisted CFO with earnings calls, travel needs and relocation information.
o Supervised office layout and met furniture, equipment, telephone, computer and video equipment needs.
Completed project to remodel restrooms and Fiberstar’s board room.
EVENT/MEETING PLANNING
• Governmental: Coordinated quarterly DARPA national meetings in Solon with 45 to 58 engineering,
subcontract and government personnel for $5 million project to develop energy saving lighting for naval
ships and planes.
• International: During potential company take-over by Korean company, produced vast information for due
diligence and arranged all phases of week-long visit by 22 Korean representatives.
o Coordinated transportation between airport, hotel, office, and restaurants and a week of office
breakfasts and lunches; arranged offsite meeting rooms Researched Korean business ethics and
arranged for appropriate gift-giving and translation of business cards into Korean.
• Board Members: Planned and scheduled hospitality and meeting arrangements and Annual Shareholders
meeting: arranged travel, limousines, hotel and special dinner arrangements and prepared detailed travel
itineraries for executives and board members.
• Investor Relations: Planned and scheduled changing itineraries of meetings with investors in multi-city
destinations for company CEO: coordinated meetings with contact persons and arranged limousine service
to separate locations.
• Company-wide: Arranged special business and holiday dinners at off-site locations: visited sites to
approve facilities, plan menus, and pre-select food and beverages. Included Board Meetings, sales and
quarterly meetings, training sessions, company-wide Christmas party, executive holiday dinner, and
company-wide luncheon (2006).
