Procured licensed promotional items, call center services, meeting facility and event venues for incentive and
rewards program (corporate debit card contracts). Managed a total spend of $85M.
Directed by Executive Vice President of Purchasing to resource 30 reward trips and meetings, along with
the corporate debit card, totaling over $30M. (Previously these areas were single sourced.)
o Meetings and Reward Trips: Transferred contracts from the supplier in question directly to
Chrysler without paying a penalty or incurring any increases and/or losses of services or facilities.
o Debit Card Rewards Program: Implemented a temporary solution for this ongoing program. The
new card was negotiated in order for Chrysler to have greater value and control of the cards and bin,
which resulted in a savings of $750k over five years.
Senior Buyer, International Procurement Services - Tooling Equipment and Construction Procurement, 2002 –
2008.
Managed a corporate supply base. Purchased all plastics, tooling and fixtures, steel racking, rubber, foam, vinyl,
and all line-side equipment and automation relative to Material Handling. Utilized both domestic and foreign
suppliers for all buying activity. In charge of a $132M spend.
Served as global lead for Germany in establishing a commodity strategy for plastic totes and bulk
containers. Conducted on-line bidding events, which resulted in driving down costs, a much healthier
supply base, and a competitive climate. Overall effort exceeded diversity goals for three consecutive
years.

Received 2008 Chrysler LLC Global Sourcing Professional of the Year award and was runner up for the
Michigan Minority Business Development Council (MMBDC) Corporate Buyer of the Year. This was
achieved for exceeding diversity sourcing goals for three consecutive years and for assisting a supplier in
growing their business presence, including mentoring them through audits by corporate brand protection,
environmental, and legal departments making them eligible for the Corporate approved Plastics Recycling
list.
Conducted global market tests for Chrysler standard containers in an effort to drive down costs and to
expand the supply base, both domestically and globally. This exercise resulted in an average per container
cost savings of 5-10%.
Spearheaded two engineering movements to a vac form tray, which resulted in a logistics savings of $10M.
Also led an engineering movement for 17 inch wheels, which resulted in a logistics savings of $2M.
Established corporate performance standards and expanded supply base for Urethane dunnage. Conducted
market testing of new supply base, which resulted in a savings of 20-36%.
Facilitated on-line bidding events, which resulted in an average savings of 45% for engine, transmission,
and axle racks.
Material Handling Engineering - Production Program Planning Analyst, 2000 – 2002
Prepared value analysis on Expendable Packaging Clauses for the entire Chrysler Corporation. Challenged with a
lack of benchmarking standards for expendable packing and skyrocketing prices.
Established corporate benchmark pricing for expendable packaging.
Reduced annual expendable packaging costs by $18.8M.
Achieved a Special Recognition of Excellence award from the Vice President of Supply, Dave Hodgson,
for reducing cardboard cost per unit by 42%, yielding a new average cost of $5.31.
