of North America and all of Mexico to ensure that Schneider National, Inc. is getting the “Best
Value” in vended maintenance.
Worked cross-functionally with Van, Bulk, Specialized, Truck-rail, Dedicated, and Maintenance
Operations to provide maintenance support and increase equipment availability at the highest
quality and lowest cost.
Created and developed and maintenance reporting for Area Service Managers, vendors and on-
site account associates. PMCs also review processes and recommend changes as well as locate,
evaluate, train and audit maintenance vendors in support of all lines of business within their region
which averaged 4 million in spend per year.
Responsibilities:
1.Establish maintenance support for 31 Dedicated, Bulk, to included GM, Ford, JC Penny,
Advance Auto, Wal-Mart, Mexico crossings and Truck-rail accounts as needed and provide
point of contact between SNI and vendors.
2. Review work orders, follow up on unacceptable repairs, request credits, and assist
vendors in problem diagnosis and technical support. Follow up on warranty work and filing.
3. Keep vendors updated on new techniques, procedures, and service bulletins either
through personal training or utilizing shop associates.
4. Support Schneider emergency maintenance with repair decisions, department training and
mentoring associates.
5. Work with Operations and Customer Service on critical incidents, equipment availability,
and required maintenance through out my region.
6. Maintenance reporting based on availability, cost, volume, and quality to Area Mangers,
vendors and account managers.
7. Analyze purchased maintenance markets, consolidate vendors, and assist Schneider
National with company support decisions.
8. Negotiate contracts and labor rates and parts with maintenance vendors.

proper parts inventory complete cycle counts and pull dead stock. Sourcing parts from local

Tire Champion is responsible for maintaining company tire stances and inventory. training of
drivers and new shop associates and tire issues and is accountable for tire based decisions.
Maintain tire tooling for tire installation. Ensure that proper removal and installation stances are
