NOTE: Leave taken (2008 - 2010) to pursue MBA, MS in Mathematics and
perform veterinary research. I am currently engaged in research project on
Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis (EPM) believed to be caused by the
protozoa called Sarcocystis neurona (S. neurona). Formal proposal was
created and presented to the Biology department at the University of Texas
at Tyler. Since that time, secondary research continues by cataloging
scientific research projects conducted on S. neurona and protozoa found in
other animal species that cause similar neurological problems in the host.
