Corey D. Overton, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
BIM Design Specialist
After receiving my Bachelor of Architecture from the City University of New York, I was fortunate enough to begin my
career at an office creating architectural drawings by hand. As my career has advanced I find that that experience
provided an understanding of drawing quality that stays with me to this day.
Beginning in school I have advanced from using Autocad, to Architectural Desktop and finally to Autodesk Revit. From
Schematic Design and visualization to Construction Administration, BIM design has had a great impact on how I have
been able to work and lead project teams. As a registered architect, Certified Revit Professional, and former BIM
consultant, I have developed techniques and best practices for knowledge sharing that I now use to improve the design
quality and efficiency of my project teams.
LEED accredited since 2009, I have been a part of completed LEED projects as well as the creation of LEED-specific
tools for Revit Architecture. In 2008 I was part of a team that completed an award winning project that was the largest
LEED CI project in the state of Georgia at the time. I am always looking forward to new opportunities for problem solving
balancing technology, design, delivery and sustainability.
Thank You,
Corey D. Overton
