Managed all aspects of the two properties for the largest off shore Casino
Company in the US. Opened the Palm Beach operation and later transferred
to the second largest of their operations in Little River. As the GM, I
was responsible for profit and loss for a $20 million/year operation
consisting of fifteen departments (Food & Beverage, Casino, Building and
Vessel maintenance, Entertainment, Audits, Transportation, Sales, etc) with
an excess of 225 employees. We entertained more than 200,000 customers in
a yearly basis. Upon my arrival to the Little River (SC) property, I
proceeded to compose a winning team which gave us top sales in the fleet
within seven months. Additionally, I was able to reduce expenses by 17%
within the same period of time. My "on" and "off " duty relationships and
appearances, coupled with forged alliances from the local businesses,
assisted my team and I in becoming better acquainted with the Myrtle Beach
Market, which translated to a better product for our customers, thus,
increasing the bottom line.

as well as raise additional moneys from existing and potential clients.
Quality & Customer Service Director/Facility & Purchasing Manager

As a key senior management individual, I took charge of these departments
(rotated three months at a time in a one year period) in order to develop
and implement policies and procedures that streamlined processes and
improved accountability. The purpose of the exercise was to assist an up
and coming small (55 employees, $400,000/month operation), family owned
business move up to the next level. Among the myriad responsibilities as
the Quality Director I had full responsibility of product quality, to
include in-process and final inspections, supply chain quality audits among
all other audits (internal & external customer audits). Dealt with all
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) compliance issues. While acting as
the Customer Service Director and with the assistance of the department's
personnel, I developed and implemented a standard reporting procedure that
maintained all customers abreast of their part(s) status on a weekly basis,
thus improving customer satisfaction. Managed the Facility/Equipment
Maintenance and associated personnel for an FAA Certificated Aircraft
Repair Station consisting of a $4.8M building and over $1.5M worth of
maintenance equipment, to include vehicles. Developed and implemented a
preventive maintenance program, including a reporting system, encompassing
facility and work equipment (i.e. HVAC, compressors, fire alarm system,
large walk in ovens and paint booths, vacuum pumps, machining and milling
equipment, clean rooms, etc.). Managed all the sub-contractors related to
all facility projects. Developed a measurement system that enhanced the
maintenance budget. Training and safety of facility and equipment, as well
as development of an emergency contingency plan for the company were among
additional responsibilities assigned to me. As the Purchasing Manager I had
oversight of the stock room (approximately $730,000) and buyers. The
following are some of the management responsibilities pertaining to the
position; negotiated rates with suppliers and sub-contractors, problem
resolution, such as product availability for grounded aircrafts, process
improvement, developed and implemented a measurement system for the
department.

Quality Management Systems & Audits Manager
Lockheed Martin Aircraft and Logistics Center, (LMALC) Greenville, SC
First year - Reporting to the Business Ethics and Compliance Director, I
developed and implemented an LMALC-wide (seventy-five hundred individuals
world-wide) Records Management Program. Occasionally assisted in Ethics
Investigations.
Second year - Managed the Self Governance Program. Developed and
implemented an ISO registration plan for LMALC Lines of Business
(diversified conglomerate composed of five separate support type businesses
for the Department of Defense) & Common Support Services (i.e., HR, BM,
BD). Occasionally assisted in Ethics Investigations.
Third year - Finished the LMALC (all Lines of Business, Common Support
Services & HQ) ISO registration process, under budget and ahead of
schedule. Developed the transition plan to the new ISO9001:2000 revision,
which was accomplished six months ahead of schedule as well. During this
journey, I participated and lead several process improvement teams in order
to meet ISO requirements and streamline processes.
Fourth & fifth year - Consolidated Policies & Procedures, Records
Management, Audits and ISO into the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Developed an LMALC standard audit database with worldwide standardized
audit schedules and root causes in order to trend "true" root causes and
repetitive findings so that we may migrate towards the pro-active (rather
than the reactive) side of the equation, thus, giving Sr. Management a TRUE
overall view of the LMALC "Health". My overarching LMALC QMS Management
responsibilities required I worked hand on hand with The Management Teams
of all our Lines of Business as well as the Company Senior Management on a
regular basis.
Calibration Engineering Department Supervisor
United Space Alliance (a Lockheed Martin/Boeing Joint Venture Co.), Kennedy

Supervised a multi-discipline engineering department in a cross-functional
systems integration environment. Managed the Shuttle Processing Contract
(SPC) Calibration Engineering processes and Customer Support for the United
States Manned Space Program. It consisted of more than 950 Systems
containing 13,000 plus instruments. Member of the ISO 9000 implementation
team and Lead Auditor of the team assigned to perform an in depth gap
analysis of the entire Shuttle Processing Contract (approximately work
force of 8500 individuals) in preparation for an ISO registration.
Following a successful KSC registration, I was requested to ascertain
Stennis Space Center's ISO implementation plan and recommend necessary
changes to accomplish the task. This was a three months temporary
assignment to Stennis Space Center, LA.
Senior Calibration Engineer
Northrop Grumman (formerly Grumman Technical Services), KSC, FL
Interfaced with space shuttle systems engineers, department supervisors and
managers (NASA & Contractors inclusive) in order to develop and implement
calibration procedures for systems such as The Remote Manipulating System
(RMS) Shuttle Navigational Systems, electronic/electrical and
mechanical/dimensional systems. Acting Supervisor during his absence.
Executive Vice President of Operations

Responsible for all aspects of operations for a diversified business
conglomerate composed of Real Estate & Construction Company, wholesale
commercial nurseries, import and export, etc. Among my myriad
responsibilities, I prepared projected cash flows and expenditure reports
for a seven million dollar construction project and presented them to the
lending institutions. Interfaced with potential investors/customers, local
