*Saved State of Arizona $15,000 annually in energy costs for 3
properties, designed and built
critical computer room for ADC operations, including UPS system.
Instituted customer service and
safety classes for employees, and developed emergency evac and
preparedness procedures and
policies. Acted as intergovernmental liaison between State, city
and county officials. Planned and
oversaw the relocation of over 500 employees in 2 year span and
saved the State $750,000.
*Managed and oversaw the $5.75MM design, contracting, remodeling
and construction of 35 Bowling Centers throughout west and
Northwest of country. This included evaluations of ALL building
systems, customer service procedures, prioritization of work,
permitting, budgeting, and scheduling.
*Salvaged poor client relationship that put this critical
project behind schedule. Established new lines of communication
with ownership, contractors and subs that allowed reprogramming
of construction scheduling, and the coordination of 135
subcontractors. Outcome: 500,000 sq. ft. facility, 3 buildings /
computer center, 128 acre site improvements completed on
schedule, at budget and is American Express showpiece for
international visitors. Also, finalized management contract by
building solid management system and employee base.
*Improved employee security and safety by establishing and
implementing methods which
minimized exposure during construction phases, that resulted
in no downtime and no injuries during
12 weeks of construction
*Supervised $2.0MM rehabilitation (HVAC, heating, elevators,
etc.) of 60 year old building with the
benefit of new clients and increased profits.
