Process Improvement/CMMI - I developed and maintained systems engineering
processes, procedures, templates, and tools that were used throughout the
multi-track engineering development life cycle. SGS achieved CMMI Maturity
Level 2 in April 2006 and Maturity Level 3 in October 2007. Managed all
aspects of change management via the IT governance process, worked with
multiple cross-matrix teams to manage customer expectations, and ensure
that all developed processes would meet the requirements of the various
user communities. Delivered 1st major deliverable in 13 months, when
project had been stalled for 5 years. I completed the project six months
ahead of schedule and under budget. Worked with Operations Management to

Lead PM Mentor to the Manufacturing & Quality Group of General Motors North
America. I was responsible for the mentoring of ten project/program

compliance, and CMMI. Functioned as Project Manager and handled the
scheduling, coordination, documentation management, and facilities, as well
as Functional Area Representative for the Project Management Office.
Previous assignments for General Motors included serving in the Business
Services Division as a Sr. Project Manager [03-04 to 07-04] on a $1.8
Million mainframe enhancement project executing under CMMI Level 3 process
and procedures. Responsibilities were to take the initial project through
planning, definition, and sourcing and move to Development Factory for
