WiMAX System Test Engineer at Motorola Inc, Arlington Heights, IL

June 2008 -Present

Responsibilities:

> Integrated complete WiMAX system.

Commissioned Access Point sites and bootstrapped with carrier access

point controller, Element Management Service (EMS), Bridgewater and

NetOP AAA server.

> Performed UDP Throughput, Admission Control, Quality of Service and

KPI Testing under different RF conditions.

> Testing the performance and capacity of the WiMAX network.

Responsibilities include developing and executing test strategies and

methodologies, finding defects, debugging and working closely with

development teams to resolve issues. Executed scripts on Linux based

RF Loader Tool to stress the Access Point with signaling and bearer

traffic in system Test Lab using real devices.

> Worked on various WiMAX system release testing including many new

features (Static Load Shedding, DAP DUO, Traffic Priority) and

functionalities of the WiMAX system. The main goal is to ensure a

quality software release is delivered to our customers.

> Configured Foundry Networks Switches (2402) with Administrative

functions, IP address and subnet mask, Port security, RSTP (802.1w)

and VLAN Tagging.

> Actively involved in Perl scripting. Training and Assisting New

Engineers.
