Skills and Methods
Spending a career in municipal government and a lifetime in the
construction industry, I have a unique insight into the concerns facing
both developers/contractors and authorities having jurisdiction.
Experience has shown me that many problematic issues stem directly from
communication deficiencies. By knowing the general priorities of both
sides in a dispute, I have become successful at seeking solutions, and
focusing efforts on stated goals through strategic planning and
relationship building.
I have spent years developing a network of contacts throughout Missouri and
the nation that allows me to reach-out in times of need to open lines of
communication. Programs I have developed or co-developed are in use by
many fire prevention and building code administration departments
throughout the state.
