Research Experience

(1) Worked on case series on psychiatric implications of migration in

patients at Metropolitan Hospital Center Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic.

(2) Worked as a Clinical research assistant in the Department of

endocrinology and public health developed a protocol on prevalence of

diabetic neuropathy and its psychiatric consequences like depression in

medically indigent population of Atlanta collaborating with the department

of Public Health. The study got approved by the IRB and about to start.

(3) Worked on study on teenagers evaluating their knowledge about different

types of sexually transmitted diseases and their attitude towards them if

they or some one else acquires them and what safety measures should be

taken to protect from these.

(4) Worked on factors associated with smoking in College going students.

(5) Worked on natural history of Trigeminal neuralgia also developing

facial pain questionnaire for diagnosis and management of facial pain.
