Manufacturing Engineering Technology Executive, Global ADT 2006-2009

Advanced Development Team ( ADT ) representative for Body, Press and Die

reporting to the Executive Technical Council. Coordinated and managed an

annual development budget of over $20M and development manpower of

approximately 75 full time equivalent heads globally leveraged cross-

functionally.

. Created the Manufacturing Development Project Portfolio of 195

projects in nine countries to eliminate redundancies and maximize

project outcomes.

. Developed the strategies of lightweighting and flexible or agile

systems for vehicle manufacturing to enable fuel efficiency targets

and reduce vehicle investment costs.

. Created and chaired 26 Gate Reviews of manufacturing development

hydroforming, six parts and equipment into production.

. Created and maintained a website for documentation of sheet

Managed all aspects of a stand-alone development facility including

Responsible for all functions in the Tool and Die Operations consisting

of Patterns, Construction and Tryout. Managed a total of over 450

employees in the Tool and Die operations with operations budget of over

$8M and tooling investment of $50M annually.

. Led the improvement of Marion Tool and Die operations from worst

performer to leader in cost, timing of delivery and quality in a three

. Negotiated with the unions ( UAW and PML ) for policy changes and the
