Dear Sirs:
I am seeking a position with a company that has defined goals. A
company that develops focused plans to achieve those goals through
empowered continuous improvement teams.
Throughout my career I have been afforded many opportunities to learn
and develop strong learning, teaching, team motivation and customer service
skills. A consistent "what-if" attitude, combined with a competency to
remain focused on the desired results has facilitated these skills. Other
qualities that will be beneficial are my training, communication,
Continuous Improvement, 5s, Lean Manufacturing, safety, document-procedure
development, computer, and people skills.
The experience of motivating people with varying backgrounds and
strengths to achieve common goals has been a very rewarding part of my
career. The teaching of people with varying backgrounds and strengths and
facilitating their learning has been the highlight. Empowering people to
learn from and to teach others will generate team thinking and reasoning;
which combined with continuous support and recognition for successes,
results in people who take ownership and pride in a job well done together.
This position will enhance my current skills and present me
opportunities to learn and to teach to overcome new challenges. I look
forward to meeting with you to discuss how we can achieve a productive
future together.
Sincerely,
Marc Robert Powell
