OEM Quality Engineer
Responsible for the successful launch of the Ford P473 underbed structure,
5th Wheel and Gooseball Hitch Kit. Performed all aspects of the APQP
process for this launch including; control plan, PFMEA, and process flow
development, gauge R&R studies on calipers, height gauge, and Ford specific
true position and profile gauge, capability studies for significant
characteristics, dimensional reports for all components, weld
confirmations, packaging studies, gauging work instructions, and validation
of all supplier PPAPs including chemical and mechanical properties.

Quality Manager
Responsibilities include the direction and coordination of work for quality
engineering and the quality technicians. Also, chaired the daily material
review board meeting for the analysis and disposition of all suspect
nonconforming supplied and finished goods. Performed monthly customer
visits to top ten customer locations. Responsible for corrective action
log and held meetings as needed to resolve customer issues and internal
issues related to quality (external ppm, internal ppm, high scrap rates,
and due to internal and external audit results).

Molding Quality Engineer / QS9000 Coordinator
Involved in day-to-day activities relating to the molding department at
Three Rivers including; MRB review, updates to molding inspection plans,
designing, ordering and verifying the effectiveness of new gages,
coordinating layouts, MSA studies and capability studies, training and
continued follow-up on SPC requirements in both the molding and Powertrain
departments. Duties also included coordination of quality system (QS9000)
internal audits for the facility as well as conducting audits both
internally and at sister facilities. Maintained all open issue lists for
3rd party findings and internal audit findings and lead meetings for weekly
updates.

Quality Manager
Managed and supervised a quality assurance department with five quality
engineers, a quality coordinator and eleven inspectors. Developed
procedures to ensure compliance to customer requirements and QS9000.
Worked with all departments and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Developed and maintained quality measurables that effectively determined
the plant performance towards customer and internal expectations including
scrap reduction, machine capability, customer complaints, and ppm rejects.

Quality Engineer
Responsible for the Toyota throttle position and Ford memory seat position
sensor lines at CTS. Duties included ensuring all control plans, quality
control procedures, significant characteristic lists, and tier IV
documentation for those assembly dials as well as the piece parts feeding
those dials were updated and correct. Decision making responsibility for
all potentially nonconforming product for those dials. Member of a cross-
functional team that met weekly to determine and implement corrective
actions for these lines as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
Supervised incoming quality area with shipments from some 48 suppliers and
approximately 160 part numbers. Helped write procedures for QS9000
implementation for the plant. Conducted internal audits as part of an
audit team to confirm CTS' adherence to QS9000 standards.

Production Supervisor
Planned, organized and directed between 70 to 80 hourly associates daily.
Responsible for associate reviews, counseling sessions and timecard
approval. Maintained on-time shipments to customers, while making quality
and efficiency improvements along with scrap, remold and repair reductions.

Quality Assurance Specialist
Responsible for all quality aspects of manufacturing. Handled customer
claims relating to quality including problem resolution, countermeasure
meetings and implementation and verification of those countermeasures.
Trainer for statistical techniques of X-Bar and R, Zone Analysis and
Attribute charts. Directly supervised seven quality technicians in the
areas of; receiving inspection, line audits, machine capability studies,
preventative maintenance of jigs and hold area analysis. Worked in two
launch programs developing SPC jigs, ensuring machine capability, gage
reproducibility and repeatability studies, and creating limit samples for
