Team Size: 5

Client: Honeywell, Phoenix

Profile: The basic purpose of the STANDIT is that all the parts for an

aircraft engine in a given design are stacked together properly such that

the distance between the parts is sufficient enough so that at any given

point of time and any given condition no two parts rub against each other.

So, the STACK Analysis provides the information as to what this distance is

to begin with in a given design and the DEFLECTION Analysis tells us as to

how this initial distance varies due to change in temperature and other

conditions.

Each staff has to give their total subjects, subject codes and workloads.

Allocation was purely based on priority basis and workloads. The

constraints involving of staffs having consecutive periods, same session,

and same day and within the workload were considered. During the

allocation, the clashing of constraints was overcome by the backtracking
