Engineer I 2008 - 2010

Part of Surface Transportation team charged with the design and planning of

both Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build roadway projects for state and local

agencies. Additionally provided support to Construction Inspection Team.

Minimized construction costs and prevented delays in $500M Accelerate 465

program by coordinating utility relocation for I-465 reconstruction at I-

70 and Sam Jones Expressway interchanges.

Independently managed several short-term federal stimulus projects from

inception to completion including design, quantity and cost estimating,

plan production and submission, and contract document preparation,

delivering high quality results for the Town of Zionsville.

Improved quality of plans for $22M rehabilitation project by re-designing

ditches, driveways, and culverts after uncovering errors in the original

drainage design of a nearly 12-mile section of SR 44.

Produced 50% signing and pavement markings plan set for the proposal

phase of Indiana I-65 Design-Build Project.

Conducted construction inspection and survey on two roadway and bridge

projects, ensuring safety and compliance with construction plans,

material specifications and safety regulations.

Conducted traffic volume forecasts and traffic signal warrant analyses

providing data to the State of Indiana.
