N ine years of administrative support experience with the mili tary and two
d ifferent volunteer organizations, and held a secret security clearance with
t he United States Navy for 10 years. I have a strong background of

Held a Secret Clearance for 10 years (clearance became inactive
11/2009). Responsible for presenting accurate meteorology,
oceanography, and climatology data to units under specific
operation areas, was the t raining officer responsible for
education on weapons of mass of destruction, and was in charge
of the command fitness enhancement program. During
h ur r icane season, my team was responsible for keeping the
ships in our operating area out of harm’s way by keeping them
i nformed of the projected storm path, and by suggesting the
safest routes to that should be taken to avoid the storm(s).

Volunteer Administrative Lieutenant / rescue member for the Berkeley County
Rescue Squad
Perform administrative duties as directed by the Chief and in charge
of the Associate M embers of the organization. The Administrative
L ieutenant is fifth in the Chain of Command and sits on the Board of
D irectors which makes operational decisions about t he organization and
j udgments about its members. Other duties include writ ing grants for
equipment and money to keep the rescue members and the equipment safe
and operational, and t racking volunteer hours of all members so that it can
be presented every month at the business meetings.

Attend as many dispatched calls as possible; take photographs of the
scenes; and update the Moncks Corner Rural Fire Department website
as needed. Perform secretarial duties and assist in making decisions
r egarding the fi re department including decisions that affect the
safety of department members.
