North American Regional CFO
Serving as the North American Regional CFO, I am tasked with consolidating
a production facility, warehousing and a NAFTA sales group for our North
American business unit with revenue of $218 million for 2009. My primary
responsibilities included all aspects of financial accounting, Treasury and
financial consolidated reporting. My reporting is centered around Metal
Accounting and Metal Hedging with the London Metal Exchange (LME) and
performing Mark-to-Market adjustments within the guidelines of IFRS. I
Analyzed trends for 16 businesses lines and 4 facilities and provided
financial analysis to my European directors. Generating monthly KPI's and
performance metric tracking and analyzing sales, cost, inventory, employees
and manufacturing cost.
Key accomplishments included:
Lead in the development of financial metric and the financial presentation
with Business Directors. Developed and directed the company in a cost
reduction plan that reduced monthly expenses and lowered inventories.
Established a VMI program to reduce cost and create efficiency with in the
Supply Chain management. Prepare and analyze MICR (minimum internal
control Requirements) in guidance with Corporate Policy
I advised the US Business line President on all contracts with third
parties in regards to Union & Non-union employment contracts, customer sale
contracts & long term vendor purchase contracts.
Accellent LLC (formerly MedSource LLC), Trenton, Georgia 2002 - 2006
Plant Controller
Directly responsible for staff accountants and human resources and an
Administrative Assistant. Oversaw all accounting functions including A/P,
A/R, month end close and financial statement reporting (including a written
narrative), as well as journal entries for a plant with revenue exceeding
$25M. Prepare Balance Sheet, Income Statement and variance analysis for
review with General Manager and CFO. Generate monthly KPI's and
performance metric tracking and analyzing sales, cost, inventory, employees
and manufacturing for cost reduced and cash flow maximization. I worked
closely with the Management team as an advisor of the business unit
providing support in understanding operating and strategic profitability
issues. I participated in growth of the company from $5 million to $25
million in revenue in my tenure. I had responsible for leading inventory
cycle counts and annual physical inventory and successfully reduce
inventory from $7 million to a monthly average of $2 million. Preparation
and presentation of the annual budget for the corporate executive
committee, including sales forecasts, staffing levels and costs, fixed and
variable costs, breakeven and gross margin analysis. Applied lean and six
sigma principles to front-end and back-end support services in order to
reduce quote-to-order cycle time and the reduction of month end close cycle
time. Prepare and Implement internal controls procedure within business
unit in accordance with section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Finance Leader/Plant Controller
This facility manufactured recuperators for the M1A1 Abrams Tank. My
primary responsibilities was for leading the facilities general and cost
accountant activities, reporting, analyzing, tracking of manufacturing
performance metric. Manage all capital projects and a sundry of other
projects with in our COE. Generate monthly performance metric tracking and
analyzing sales, cost, inventory, employees and manufacturing for cost
reduced and cash flow maximization. Reporting weekly to shop performance,
and monthly financial package. Worked closely with shop managers to
provide timely and accurate information. Prepare and maintain operating
budget for eight departments.

Cost Accountant
Prepared production and cost reports for management, analyzing and
reporting on production cost variances and inventory usage. Preformed the
month end closing process for seven plants across the Southeast United
States and prepared journal entries for month end close. I worked closely
with shop managers to provide timely and accurate production and financial
