NAF Funding is a Life Settlement Brokerage headquartered in New York City. As
Executive Director of Operations/Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing,
I manage a staff of 20+ employees consisting of salespeople and operational
staff. Some of my responsibilities include bringing all employees together as
a team to handle all aspects of case preparation, offer generation, offer
presentation and closing; all requiring meticulous accuracy and efficiency.
Keeping the lines of communication open between the operations team and the
sales force is crucial. While in this position, I developed efficient and
streamlined operational systems which resulted in our per case processing time
improving from 3-4 weeks per case down to 10 days per case while at the same
time cutting our processing costs from an average of $3,000 per case to
approximately $1,000-$1,500 per case. I was also able to identify and eliminate
unneeded expenses and integrated our various technology platforms into one
stand-alone system. During this time I also developed new marketing
approaches, which resulted in a 200% increase in quarterly revenue. I was able
to cut the sales team down from 100+ employees in our 5 offices to 20 people
while our "cases in" increased approximately 25% and our closing ratio
increasing approximately 50%.

Chief Operating Officer 10/2002 - 01/2007
Managed the purchase, management and eventual sale of 100+ residential
properties from 2002-2007. In this capacity I was directly involved in all
operational aspects of purchasing, closing, leasing, management, etc. I have 7
years of experience in dealing with HUD properties as well as section 8,
market, 80/20 and high end residential properties. I have experience with all
property types ranging from "A Class" to "D Class" properties, both commercial
& residential.
Manhattan Management Co., Garnerville, New York
Property/Operations Manager 11/1999 - 7/2002
Property manager of a 373-unit residential apartment complex located in
Rockland County, NY. In this position I managed an office staff of 3 and a
maintenance staff of 15 full time employees. I was involved in all aspects of
successful property management and internal operations of the company. Since my
initial hiring in 1999, I brought the property from 81% occupancy to 95%
occupancy. I was successful in turning the complex from a "C-" property to a
"B+" property and was able to initiate managerial and operational changes that
saved the company an average of 15% per quarter in administrative expenses and
25% in maintenance expenses. Under my management, company employees enjoyed
profit sharing for the first time in 8 years.

Ruby et Violette is a gourmet cookie company located on Long Island; serving
such vendors as Bergdorf Goodman, Zabars, Bloomingdales, Dean & DeLuca, etc. As
Director of Operations my duties included overseeing a staff of 15 employees
including line workers in a sterile, "NSF" environment as well as packaging and
shipping operations. I was also directly involved with business development,
vendor relations and public relations.
