Senior Manager of Engineering/Maintenance/Facilities 1999-2008
Director of Engineering providing consulting and technical support for as
many as six business units. The business units had sales in excess of $400
million. Consulted, initiated and executed development with the six
business unit Presidents on new research and development projects and
process improvement opportunities. Consulted and provided technical
assistance on the production floor to their engineering, maintenance and
process staff on the improvement of existing product profitability and
process improvements.

Managed all engineering and technical operations at three facilities with
full budget responsibilities in excess of $8 million/yr and coordinated
with manufacturing to produce in a profitable and efficient manner. Managed
over $50 million in capital projects at the three facilities. Directed
engineering of three international start up operations. Conducted due
diligence on six potential company acquisitions. Provided management
oversight for a staff 10 engineers and associates of 50.
. Developed new process, plant layout, utilities and bulk material
systems for the wood composite market that ultimately became a $150
million deck business.
