Restaurant.com helps restaurant owners promote the new and unique
aspects of their restaurants while providing diners with great value in a
fun, new and cost effective way. The Reporting System project is
responsible for creation of various reports which are used by both
employees of Restaurant.com and the clients. The reports generated are sent
to the clients in the form of Excel and CSV spreadsheets.
Responsibilities:
. Responsible for the implementation of mappings/transformations based
on source-to-target specifications for packages.
. Create and maintain stored procedures to interpret complex business
rules and historical data.
. Generate the weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports using SSRS.

Compass is an application designed to serve as a business-wide
information management system for Human Arc. It ensures that the
information transfer between Human Arc and its customers is handled in a

drives higher revenue potential. A set of reports were placed in this
website, out of which some were for internal usage within Human Arc while
some could be viewed by the customers.

GLOBAL FINANCE WAREHOUSE PROJECT:
This project was developed to maintain a continuous cover to monitor
the expenditures incurred in various departments at Pfizer. These
departments included Procurement, Expense Management and Capital Planning.
The project provided the facility to generate reports weekly, monthly,
quarterly and annually for its users. These reports could be generated for
different purposes based on requirements like department wise or item wise
etc. Pfizer uses these reports to predict future expense to earnings ratio
and to forecast/track budget allocations for various teams.
Responsibilities:
. Created SSIS packages to load the data into the data warehouse
environment.
. Scheduled SSIS packages by creating the corresponding jobs.
. Designed and modified the table structures and their relationships.
. Created interface stored procedures used in SSIS to load/transform

BASEL-STEP 4A:
The Basel II rules ensure that a bank maintains required amount of
minimum capital reserves. This is calculated based on the various risks a
bank faces. The overall objective of the Basel II IT Program is to
implement an IT system which will allow Shinsei Bank (based in Japan) to
meet these Basel II requirements. Step 4A is one of the numerous steps
taken to achieve this objective. To achieve this we extracted data from a
set of data sources, transformed it according to the requirements and
loaded it into the reports database which was used for further calculations
to create reports. The project team comprised of ten developers.
Responsibilities:
. Designed and implemented various Packages (SSIS) for performing the
Extract, Transform and Load functionality.
. Designed and implemented various FSA Reports (SSRS).
. Maintained SQL Server stored procedures and Jobs.
. Generated batch files to transfer source files.
. Worked with the testing team to fix any bugs that were found.
. Worked on various enhancements to include new changes.
. Was responsible for most of the coding required for this project.

ACCOUNT RECONCILIATION:
Account Reconciliation is an intranet application implemented for
successful reconciliation process. This is a flexible, innovative solution
that helps reconciliation needs across multiple foreign and domestic
accounts. Using the application we compare accounting records against those
shown on a bank statement and create comparison reports. Using these
reports any possible discrepancies can be uncovered and can thus reduce the
number of errors in the accounting system. The project team comprised of 3
developers.
Responsibilities:
. Developed, modified, and optimized complex stored procedures,

. Monitored the scheduled jobs for proper functioning of the databases.
