ASIC DESIGN
Network on Chip Router
Spring 2010 A Network on
Chip Router was designed and implemented in Register Transfer Level (RTL),
after functional verification it was synthesized followed by static timing
analysis, logical equivalency check and place and route.
DIGITAL VLSI DESIGN
16 Bit Pipelined Multiplier
Fall 2009
Designed and created a layout of a 16 Bit Wallace Tree Multiplier. The
design was pipelined by breaking it up into stages using Flip flops and an
alternate pipeline using Latches to study time borrowing. The designs were
simulated on Hspice.
RADIO FREQUENCY FILTER DESIGN
Passive Filter Design
Fall 2009
Designed a 5th order elliptic filter (SAW filter) used in GSM-850 receivers
using Matlab and implemented the circuit in Cadence-Spectre. The
simulation met a target of 45dB attenuation in the stop band and a 1dB
ripple in the pass band.
Active Filter Design
Fall 2009
Designed a low pass filter based on the 802.11a frequency specifications
using Matlab and implemented the circuit in Cadence-Spectre. The circuit
simulated had a pass band of 10MHz and a pass band voltage gain of 20dB.
DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING
Summer 2009
Worked on Matlab to develop and implement programs like Morphological
Processing, Optical Character Recognition, Dithering and Image Enhancement
Techniques like noise removal and histogram equalization.
SEMICONDUCTOR PROCESSING - Clean room experience
Spring 2009
Fabricated semi-conductive devices and digital circuits on a 3 inch Silicon
Wafer and analyzed electrical characteristics of the devices in a clean
room.

Member of a student group which builds rockets. Worked on pre-preg carbon
fiber and fiber glass airframe fabrication and development of the Data
