Worked as a Production/Shift Supervisor for CooperVision, Inc., a major contact lens
manufacturer which operates under strict FDA and ISO regulations, carrying out all
leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization‘s policies and applicable
laws. Managed the entire shift consisting of 8 front line Group Leaders, 12 mechanics,
and up to 125 permanent and temporary hourly employees working in multiple
production and distribution departments including Cast Molding, De-molding,
Hydration/Sterilization, Low Volume Automation, Final Inspection Processing, and
Packaging/Labeling. Additionally, in absence of their primary managers, assumed
supervision of support groups such as Quality Control, Technical Support, and Facilities
Maintenance department. Directly, or through subordinate Group Leaders, maintained
optimal staffing, delegated work assignments, initiated, maintained, and executed
production schedules, monitored work flow and planned priorities, and ensured that all
departments meet quality and production goals and operate cost effectively, under
approved budget. Generated, maintained, and distributed multiple daily, weekly, and
monthly production and quality reports and KPI charts and regularly met with
Manufacturing Manager and/or Director of Manufacturing to communicate and discuss
overall shift performance, and prepared detailed monthly reports for the upper

actions and activities are performed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices

Responsible for staffing, interviewing and hiring new operators, group leaders, and
