. Submitted idea to immediate supervisor to scan hundreds of hard copy
documents to create an electronic filing system to more easily retrieve
back-up documentation when dealing with vendors. My idea was accepted,
and I was solely responsible for making this a reality. Charge back
letters, freight bills, and associated documentation was scanned and
filed electronically by vendor name. Backups of these electronic files
were sent to an off-site location. This increased the efficiency of our
department as we were able to respond to vendor requests much more
quickly than before.
