. Submitted idea to immediate supervisor to scan hundreds of hard copy

documents to create an electronic filing system to more easily retrieve

back-up documentation when dealing with vendors. My idea was accepted,

and I was solely responsible for making this a reality. Charge back

letters, freight bills, and associated documentation was scanned and

filed electronically by vendor name. Backups of these electronic files

were sent to an off-site location. This increased the efficiency of our

department as we were able to respond to vendor requests much more

quickly than before.

. Maintained vendor files and vendor e-mail system with all correspondence

and kept system updated.

. Worked directly with merchants to identify Electronic Data Interchange

(EDI) candidates and solve vendor issues.

. Wrote/generated and sent all Vendor Violation letters and copied

. Calculated rates for freight costs from invoices and broke out costs by

vendor to charge back freight costs to the correct vendor.
