Role: Project Lead / Senior Programmer.

This project deals with the entire supply chain management of Nissan Motor

Service Parts (for Nissan Vehicles) from the Vendors to the Nissan

warehouses and then to the Nissan Motor dealers across North America &

across globe. WMS is a logistic pro product that developed in AS/400 which

includes modules and programs of ILE, RPG 400, CL 400, COBOL, SQL etc. WMS

takes care day to day activities of parts and distribution from Nissan

Warehouses to five thousand dealers across the country, which includes

inventory management, receiving, locating, order processing and shipping

functionality of fifty thousand more types of Nissan Parts . WMS receives

orders from Dealers via NMPS,which is an application developed in

Mainframe and each Warehouse do start with planning process to shipping

the orders .Other side of application takes care receiving parts from NML

Japan and other local vendors and locate in appropriate location inside the

warehouse . WMS also interface the financial system developed in SAP for

developing management reports. This application uses an interface of Net

View DM for data transferring to both Mainframe and SAP. Responsibility

includes analyzing business, meeting with managers fixing issues and

leading a team of 30 of onsite offshore model, including development of new

projects in AS/400. Extensively used ALDON as a CMT, The environment was

RPGILE, COBOL, SQL,WRKQRY, Net View DM CLILE etc.

policy administration module in SIS in which that creates and maintains a

I was involved in sales order processing project with HMIL who is one of

the biggest car manufacturing company. I involved the maintenance of their

retailing business. This system will automate the whole process of Retail

Lending for automobile. It starts with when a customer approach for a loan

and till the loan is disbursed and subsequent maintenance. This system has

two stages. Pre-disbursement and post disbursement. Pre-disbursement stage

is for collecting information from customer when he approaches for a loan

and the data are entering in to database. It validate whether the customer

is eligible for vehicle loan from the bank. Post disbursement system

involves the whole processing and follows up after the loan is passed to

the customer.

coding Programs, maintenance, tests review reports, troubleshooting,

documentation and changes arising from business transactions as needed by

client, Involved in developing reports using QRY/400.This system monitors

the inventory forecasting orders, generates overall reports of Product-

wise, Customer-wise details and Inventory Control. The Main Modules include

the following Item & Supplier Master Maintenance, Goods, Receipts, Purchase

Returns, Goods Issues, Issue Returns and Report Generation. Coded

programs, Designed screens, report. This project is for Sales Order Entry,

generation of vouchers and Invoice printing. The work order entries are

made when a customer places an order for goods. Once the material is ready

to be sent to the customer, the voucher is prepared.
