Project Abstract

The Chase card services (both acquiring and issuing) is supported by

MyTsys Platform (customized version of Tsys). This project deals with

incorporating the customizations governing the business needs. Based on

the ongoing demand, the business users come up with requirements and these

requirements have to go through the Software Development Life Cycle for

its implementation. Cognizant supports this project right from the

requirements gathering till the post production support.

Project Chase card services use MYTSYS (Total Systems) as their

card service.

Chase had acquired Washington Mutual Bank. WAMU cards were

processed by third party credit card processor - Total

Systems Services Inc. Chase converted the entire WAMU cards

data from TS1 to Chase in-house.

Chase had bought the quicken card portfolio from Citibank and

wanted to host all those quicken accounts in their TSYS

platform. This project was executed to migrate all the

quicken accounts in the Citibank system to TSYS platform. The

quicken accounts where hosted in the IBS and First Data

platforms.

TSB was converted from Equasion to VisionPLUS System which

had approximately 6.5M accounts.

post installation defect resolution in production & test

regions and other customizations. There were SLA commitments

for production defect resolution that had to be met in order

Project Bank Of Communication wanted to implement the Credit card

Abstract business with VisionPLUS . The requirements were broadly

classified as Interface requirements, which dealt with the

interface required between IBS and VisionPLUS ; and, the

Functional requirements, which dealt with the gap between

VisionPLUS 8.18 and the customer business needs.

As a part of phase 1 of the project, implementation was done

across all the subsystems of VisionPLUS with 18 functional

enhancements and 15 interface enhancements across modules

like CDM, CMS, FAS, TRAMS and LTS. Business requirement

gathering, gap analysis, parameterization, customization and

testing were the major phases of this implementation project.

Cognizant was engaged in the enhancement of the system to

cater to business needs and owned the project from

requirements workshop till implementation.

Project China Ever Bright Bank, one of the leading banks in China

Abstract operates Credit Card Business using VisionPLUS . First Data

was the credit processor for China Ever Bright Bank.

Cognizant was involved in handling major customizations for

CEB through First Data.

The Major Customizations which I had handled were

. Working & Non-Working Accounts Project

First Data China charged CEB service fees in accordance with

the number of accounts stored in the VisionPLUS on First

Data China Data Center. These accounts were classified in to

Working and Non-Working accounts based on authorization,

transaction and statements for the accounts.

. Credit Bureau project

This project involved Coding of Batch Programs, which

generated Output Interface files for the Credit Bureau.

. CEB Call Center Project:

CEB Call Center project dealt with the designing of web based

interfaces for the existing VisionPLUS CICS screens. The XML

Layer served as the data transportation media between the WEB

and the CICS interfaces. The data is transferred back and

forth between the WEB Screens and the Mainframe Screens

through the XML Data Packets. It also involved the

preparation of two batch output interface files.
