Successfully lead and managed team members in areas of Inventory
Management, Transportation, Maintenance, and Security. Coordinate
daily activities of maintenance technicians, utility clerks, and
forklift drivers. Serve as point of contact between T-Mobile NRC and
onsite security officers. Organize and coordinate all issues regarding
facility maintenance and building/process improvements. Serve as point
of contact by working closely with contractors and vendors on

Organize and carry out Safety Training for all 240 team members

Financial Accounting Department. Support Materials Manager by creating
Purchase Orders and dealing directly with suppliers for incoming
production materials, supplies and equipment. Receive supplier
invoices into computer system to assist Accounts Payable Department.
Work with Production Controller by conducting daily inventory counts,
providing EDI support, and scheduling outgoing expedited shipments.

Successfully managed the flow, storage, and shipment of aluminum alloy
wheels for the luxury SUV and car markets. Complete daily shipments to
support the production of BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volvo, and many other
automobile manufacturers. Create Bills of Lading and Commercial
Invoices as well as load trucks for outgoing shipments within the
United States and abroad. Unload and receive incoming deliveries of
material through the use of the AS400 computerized inventory system.

Successfully launched second shift operation of Quarter Panel Assembly
in the Interiors Department of a Tier 1 supplier to Mercedes Benz.
Maintain daily output of eight assembly lines to support the
production of Mercedes Benz M-Class, R-Class, and GL-Class vehicles.
Monitor performance of assembly lines and make sure that the customer
is covered with no issues. Set production goals for team, and work
with them on their opportunities and strengths. Meet safety
requirements and continuously monitor quality, productivity, and
efficiency. Conduct meetings to inform team of daily quality issues
and goals. Train new hires and cross train teams to cover all lines
assigned. In this fast-paced and high pressure environment I learned
how to efficiently manage a constant flow of high quality, state-of-
the-art components to a world renowned manufacturer of luxury
vehicles.
Skills:
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Warehouse Management
Systems such as PkMS, AS400, and SAP. Experienced in using Lean
Manufacturing concepts and operating in a JIT environment. Experience
in using a forklift to load/unload trucks and move material throughout
a warehouse. Sound knowledge of Manufacturing and Logistics processes
in a JIT environment. Certified by Alabama Technology Network to carry
out Industrial Powered Truck Safety Training. Excellent organization
and communication skills. Experience with using process improvement
engineering skills to design/set-up process measurement standards for
newly created work areas and perform standard maintenance for existing
work areas throughout facility.
