truck and emergency vehicles, which includes fuel tanks and
filtration components. Design, engineer and customize air
brakes for single and tandem axle chassis, while integrating
customer specifications. Auxiliary air systems and
integration of hoses, tubes, fittings and connections.
Generation of plumbing diagrams, assembly, PAD drawings and 3
dimensional CAD layouts and packaging studies using
SOLIDWORKS. Bill of Material creation, manufacturing, sales
and quality support and supplier interface. Team member of
chassis group, interfacing with frame, axel, and power train
system leads. Responsible for project timing, design and
specification review. Initiated cost study of air brake
component systems to reduce labor and maintain braking
requirements for FMVSS. Proficient in Microsoft office
software and Spartan proprietary software.

Product design of special vehicle (construction, industrial,
& military) engine cooling systems. including radiator
charger air, auxiliary oil,
transmission oil, in tank oil, and radiator in tank oil
coolers. Shrouds, AC condensers and electric fan packaging,
including brackets and all vehicle interfaces. Design
conception of several new products from prototype through
series production. Utilizing 3D solids modeling using both
Unigraphics NX2 and CATIA V5. Design background in the
following materials and processes: sheet metal, injection
molded plastics, blow molded plastics, cast aluminum &
extruded aluminum, thermal formed plastics. Detail drawings
of modules sub-assemblies and components, dimensional and
tolerance studies. Interface with all aspects of APQP
(advanced product quality procedure) and project
management support. Launched several projects form concept to
production including under hood space utilization, prototype
build, pilot build, testing, series production including
supplier review and selection. As well as customer interface,
manufacturing support; fixtures, assembly work
cell procedures and process trouble shooting. Vast knowledge
of injection molding plastics, blow molding plastics, cast
aluminum, extruded aluminum, sheet metal fabrication, dunage
and shipping containers, boxes (packaging).

1998-1999 Process / Tool Engineer, Delphi Automotive Systems Division of
General Motors Flint, MI.
Responsible for coordinating the design and build of
sequentially valve gated hot runner plastic injection family
molds. Machine process setup for 700 ton and 1000 Ton
Cincinnati Milacron injection molding machines. Facilitate
engineering changes between product engineering and tool
repair area. Provide Unigraphics expertise to design sources,
mold build sources, process/tool group and tool repair area.
Provide tool impact to product engineering. Tool estimating
and quoting.
1988-1997 Senior Designer, Delphi Automotive Systems Division of General
Motors, Flint, MI
Product design of air induction systems, including:
conception, vehicle packaging, Unigraphics 3-dimentional
solid modeling of sheet metal, injected molded and blow
molded components. Detail drawing, dimensional and tolerance
studies. Responsible for air induction design standards,
drawing standards. Design review representative, Unigraphics
user group representative and "Art to Part" committee.
