The Mercantile (8/2009 to 6/2010)

Accounting Manager for an eleven store farm and ranch company with offices

located in Bridgeport, Nebraska with annual sales of approximately $25

million. Responsible for month-end thru year-end financials, AP, AR, 30

bank reconcilements, invoices from stores purchasing, inventory and

internal audits of all daily sales reports and receipts. I supervised 4

employees. The company used Eagle, Activant and QuickBooks software. I

traveled on Monday morning and Friday evening for work from home. The

company was sold in March of 2010 and I completed the final financial

reporting for the company and transfer of information to the new ownership

group.

Wedgewood Cabinetry Ltd. (6/2007 to 8/2009)

Assistant Controller - Responsibilities include payroll, human resources,

employee benefits and calculations of sales commissions. I was also

responsible for journal entries, reconciling G/L accounts, reconciling of

bank accounts and assisting with month-end financial statements. The

company uses Peachtree software.

Colorado Cinemas (4/2000 to 3/2007)

CFO/Controller - Responsible for all accounting functions thru Month-End

and Year-End Financial Statements for 11 theatre locations plus the

corporate office and consolidated statements. I processed all sales tax

returns and payroll tax returns. I supervised a staff of 4 department

employees who were responsible for payroll, human resources, accounts

payable, inventory, internal auditing, general ledger, bank reconciliations

including cash and credit cards, Asset Keeper and monthly journal entries

and account reconciliations. I worked closely with Operations department

and Theatres. The company used MAS 90/200 and FRX programs along with

Excel, Word and Peachtree Software.

Graebel Van Lines (10/1998 to 3/2000)

Senior Accountant - Working on daily and monthly journal entries and

account reconciliations. Part of my duties were assisting with financial

statement preparations.

Cowen Van Lines (10/1995 to 5/1998 and 10/1994-2/1995)

Accounting Manager and Assistant Controller - Responsible for all of

accounting area in a moving and storage company branch thru month end

financials and all daily activity. As Assistant Controller, my

responsibilities included financial activity and reporting for 4 Branch

locations.

United Artists Theatre Circuit/Daniels and Associates Cable (8/1987-3/1994)

I held positions as General Ledger Accountant, Regional Accounting Manager,

and Box Office Revenue Accounting Manager over that seven-year period. I

supervised up to 16 employees at one time.

Previous employment includes experience in the hospitality and property

management field plus the meat packing industry.

35 years experience in accounting positions including all aspects thru year

end auditing, month end financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts

receivable, payrolls and human resources, general ledger, inventory

control, multiple p & l's and supervision of staff.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with emphasis in

Accounting from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska.
