. Provided the mechanical engineering and design of three automotive paint

the start-up, calibration and operation of each.

evaporative clean room. Extra consideration given to balanced, clean-

air, ducting system that guarantied even air replenishment.

. Provided the mechanical engineering design and detail of a modular HVAC

air-supply unit. This unit was adopted as the ABB Flexible Automation

standard for use in all future air house projects.

. Created plant-wide Human-Machine-Interface control system using

Wonderware InTouch for the control and monitoring of the automated paint

application facility at Volvo Heavy Truck in Dublin Virginia.

. Provided engineering support in the complete electrical controls

installation, testing, and start-up of the aforementioned paint

application facility. Co-wrote and debugged all ladder logic PLC code

for the closed loop PID control of several temperature controlled

submersing tanks, multi-zone curing ovens, HVAC climate controlled paint

spray booths, water boiler and chiller systems, volatile explosion-proof

paint mix room, generators with switch-gear, waste water treatment

systems, conveyors, and elevators including a 6-tier automated storage

and retrieval system (ASRS) for finished truck bodies.
