presentations, press conferences and executive on-camera coaching. Created,

Concepted and wrote complete campaigns for promotion of the TV station and
its broadcast programs including News. Developed teams and systems for
producing/scheduling TV & radio spots, print ads and sales presentations.
Directed several ad agencies in support of our campaigns. Developed and
maintained station image and branding. Administered one-million-dollar
budget. Hired staff and vendors. Participated in sales and news
organizational development.
WJBK-TV2, Detroit: Promotion Coordi/Asst Creative Services Dir: 5 years:
Feb 1976 - May, 1980
Started at TV2 as Writer and Producer and Traffic Manager of on-air and
radio broadcast advertising for the station. Wrote, produced and scheduled
hundreds of programs, news and institutional campaigns. Bought radio time
using quarter million dollar budget and trade; wrote and produced sales
presentations; liaison with CBS for 4 years. Later promoted to Assistant
Manager and participated in print ad development and execution.

Two years as operations engineer, 2 years as news PA and stage manager as
well fill-in director. Promoted to Producer, A.M. Detroit with Dennis
Wholey, nationally known on-air personality, Jan/'75. Researched and booked
guests, did pre-interviews, Wrote interviews and created demonstrations,
supervised all production of the "live" show. As lead producer, made A.M.
Detroit the number 1 early morning show in its time slot in one year and
proved the value of "more than news" format for early morning talk shows.
