global semiconductor equipment manufacturer in Santa Clara, CA.
Role: Currently leading a team working in SAP APO GATP, MM and ABAP
development for the replacement of complex custom developed
enhancements to Stock Transport Order ATP functionality with standard
functionality available in Global Available-To-Promise (GATP) module
of SAP SCM (APO) 5.0. This also requires an upgrade to Livecache
Build and implementation and testing of BADI's related to the Core
Interface (CIF) transfer of external vendor Purchase Orders.
Solution Architect for the planning & scoping phase of an integrated
SAP APO Demand Planning (DP)/ Trade Promotion Management (TPM)
implementation for a global brand leader and manufacturer of Consumer
Packaged Goods.
Role: Provided key inputs in developing a cost/resource estimate for
the business case. Participated in current state workshops to
identify as-is process and areas of improvement. Developed future
state models for demand planning and forecasting using a
base/promotion lift approach. Identified detailed business
requirements for future phases of the implementation and identified
fit-gaps with respect to system capabilities. Drove technical
landscape and implementation plan decisions and provided
recommendations on hardware sizing. Also provided recommendations for
potential options for sales teams to perform sales volume & revenue
planning (SAP BW-BPS, BI-IP or BPC).
Technical Lead for Deloitte's 'Industrialized Solution' for SAP APO.
This ongoing effort involves developing a pre-configured integrated
Demand Planning/ Trade Promotion Management solution using SAP APO DP
and SAP CRM TPM for the CPG industry. Centrally involved in
conceptual and process design. Leading an offshore team through the
configuration and testing phases.
Team lead for a team implementing the Global Available-To-Promise
(GATP) module of SAP SCM (APO) 5.0 for a global semiconductor
equipment manufacturer in Santa Clara, CA.
Role: Lead a team of consultants working in SAP APO GATP, BI, SD and
ABAP development. As part of this full cycle implementation in the
Spare Parts industry, met complex requirements for part and location
substitution with a highly flexible and scalable design for rules
based ATP with Interchangeability Master Data. This is expected to
result in significant inventory reduction of obsolete and refurbished
part while improving service levels for high priority orders.
Both Sales Orders as well as Stock Transport Orders was in scope for
this implementation. Implemented product allocation functionality to
reserve supply for supply constrained parts using APO Demand Planning
(DP). Also implemented Backorder Processing (BOP) functionality and
prototyped Parameter Dependent ATP Safety Stock (PASS) functionality
for service differentiation for higher priority orders.
Implemented Configurable Process Scheduling (CPS) for Transportation
& Shipment Scheduling in SAP SCM. Designed and implemented the Core
Interface (CIF) between SCM and ERP environments. Integrated with SAP
ECC 6.0 (SD & LE). Designed and tested conversion and enhancement
objects.
Order Fulfillment team lead for an initiative called 'SCM Innovation
Template' - A pre-configured SAP solution using ECC 6.0 and SCM 5.0
for the CPG industry. Responsible for setting up SAP APO GATP
integrated with ECC SD and developing process and technical
documentation.
Designed and deployed queries using the BEx Analyzer and Query
designer tools as part of a SAP SEM/ BCS implementation for a coal
industry client.
Subject matter expert on SAP SCM for EAConnect (Deloitte's Web 2.0
initiative to share knowledge among enterprise applications
practioners using a Clearspace Jive platform).

NY. Played a lead role in all phases of the full cycle implementation
and gained a solid grounding in the Core Interface (CIF) and the
Demand Planning (DP) modules of APO.
Designed and tested configuration of SAP APO 4.0 for AT&T in St.
Louis, MO during new release rollouts. Implemented the transportation
& shipment scheduling functionality using the condition technique.
Also implemented batch jobs and procedures for performance
