i) Project: MGT Asia Wave III-

(Sep-2009 to Till Date)

Project Description:

Mattel Inc. is using Oracle Application since 2001 and it is rolled

out to more than 120 countries. This project includes implementation

of Oracle Application for India, Australia and New Zealand.

Contribution:

V Involved in the project from Kick off meeting, project planning,

business requirement gathering, process flows, solution designing,

testing and currently cutover.

V Provided complex solution on India Localization for India entity

(May-2009 to Aug-2009)

Project Description:

Wataniya Airways is the major airline in Kuwait. Wataniya went into

implementation of Oracle Applications from 2009. The project included

Support of Oracle Financials modules on R12.

Contribution:

V Leading a team of 4 professionals onsite as a project manager of

Wataniya Aiways support project.

V Resolution of all the major issues in the project as a trouble

shooter.

V Preparation/modification of Designs for Inbound and Outbound

Interfaces to integrate with legacy systems and other third party

applications.

V Controlling Release and Change Management in Production instance,

tracking development status

V Resolved the clients issue in reconciliation between various Sub

ledgers and General Ledger.

ii) Project: Air India Implementation and support -

(Dec-2008 to Apr-2009)

Project Description:

Air India is the major airline in India and worldwide. Air India went

into implementation of Oracle Applications from 2005 for SCM and 2007

for financials and right now operating its business process for all

the station in Oracle ERP. The project included implementation of

Oracle Treasury and iexpense modules along with continues support on

all other financial modules.

Contribution:

V Implemented Oracle Treasury and Business Intelligence for airline

industry based on the requirement for interbank transfer, term loan

management, FX hedging.

V Implemented iexpense to automate the employee payments and benefits

V Brought lot of process improvement with the automation and

restricting manual intervention.

iii) Project: Air India Support -

(Sep-2008 to Nov-2008)

Project Description:

Air India is the major airline in India and worldwide. Air India went

into implementation of Oracle Applications from 2005 for SCM and 2007

for financials and right now operating its business process for all

the station in Oracle ERP. The project included support on Oracle

11.5.10.2 for all the financial and supply chain modules.

Contribution:

V Leading a team of 9 professionals onsite as a project manager of Air

India support project.

V Successfully closed the financial accounts for FY 2007-2008.

V Preparation of Designs for Inbound and Outbound Interfaces to

integrate with legacy systems and other third party applications.

V Monitoring & reporting Project progress on a weekly basis to Air

India's project manager and Satyam's Account Manager for Roll Out

activities and Data Conversion and Transition.

V Involved in the solution design of Air India's business processes on

Project Description:

Oracle has called implementation partners from Satyam, Infosys, IBM,

and Accenture for testing Release 12.1. This project is for testing

the delta features in R12.1 and existing features R12.

Contribution:

V Created test flows on the basis of previous implementation and

business experience

V Setup entire organization structure along with setup in all the

financial modules in R12.1

V Setup e-Business Tax with respect to VAT, Sales Tax, Use Tax and

others

V Testing all the transactional and setup flows for e-Business Tax

V Interfacing AP and AR invoices to test the tax effect in the

calculation of EB Tax

v) Project: Fullerton Financial Oracle Implementation -

(Jan-2007 to Jul-2008)

Project Description:

Fullerton Financial Holding (FFH) is a green field Financial Service

entity based out of Dubai. It is promoted by Temasek Group, which is

an Asia investment house headquartered in Singapore. Temasek Holdings

has multinational staff of more than 300 people, and manages a

portfolio of over US$100 billion, focused primarily in Asia. FFH is

starting its operations in Dubai (UAE) and India for which they

implemented Oracle EBS.

FFH is using Oracle Applications extensively to support its customers

and user. The solution integrates Oracle CRM, Oracle Financials

(including Oracle Treasury), Card System and Core Banking Solution.

The project is to implement and integrate various applications with

major reporting from Oracle Applications.

Contribution:

V Lead the finance track including Oracle Treasury and Business

Intelligence Dashboard of the project, managing a team of 4 members

V Business Requirements Gathering which comprised continued

interaction with clients, analysis of requirements, elicitation of

untold needs and documentation of the consolidated requirements

V As-Is Study that included preparation of multiple documents and high-

level diagrams using diagramming tools and presentation of the

business analysis to clients

POC (Proof of Concept) for Healthcare Industry.

activities for Emirates Bank Group. Requirement was to map 70% of the

client requirement, which was completed in a week time.

i) Project: Rollouts for e-Urja IT Solution -

(Jun-2006 to Oct-2006)

Project Description:

Rollouts for existing implementation of Oracle Application (e-Urja)

into various non-pilot location spread all over Gujarat. It includes

rollouts for 200 odd locations of six different companies of GEB.

Rollouts involved making/modifying setups for new location and

giving training to end-users.

Involved in rollouts for financial modules, viz. GL, AP, AR, FA, TR

& CM. My role here includes

Contribution:

V Making addition setups and modifying the existing setups wherever

necessary.

V Data migration for masters as well as transactional data.

V Providing training to end users in GL, AP, CM and Treasury modules.

V Providing post production support for the already gone live

locations.

V Assisting users in performing month end closing activities for

various financial modules.

ii) Project: GEB end2end Project -

(Dec-2005 to Jun-2006)

Project Description:

Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) was established along with the

formation of Gujarat State in the year 1960 under Section 5 of the

Electricity (Supply) Act 1948. Starting with a generation capacity

of 315 MW and a consumer base of 1.40 million consumers, GEB today

is the lifeline for over 7.3 million consumers across the State of

Gujarat.

This is India's biggest Oracle Apps implementation project, which

involves implementing an end-end IT solution for Gujarat Urja Vikas

Nigam Limited (GUVNL - formerly known as Gujarat Electricity Board)

and its six subsidiaries.

Involved in implementation and production support (day-to-day

activities) for financial modules, viz. GL, AP, AR, FA, XTR & CM. My

role here includes

Contribution:

V Conversion of the entire functional process from the client's

legacy system to Oracle Applications suite for Accounts Payables,

Treasury and Cash Management module. The challenges include India

localization.

V Managing mainly four modules viz. General Ledger, Accounts

Payables, Treasury and Cash Management for all four Companies for

DISCOM (Distribution Companies), viz. MGVCL, DGVCL, PGVCL and

UGVCL.

V Done all the setups for General Ledger, Accounts Payables,

Treasury, DBI and Cash Management

V Involved in various phases of implementation from SIT, UAT, End

User Training, Data Migration, setups and roll outs.

V Provided end user training to users of four DISCOM companies users.

V Continues interaction with client from business process mapping

till data migration, golive, production and roll outs.

V Implemented Security Rule and Cross Validation functionality.
