Fort Worth Transportation Authority: Facilities
Design Manager for 5 Year Program Management Contract
for the $180 million Trinity Railway Express Commuter
Rail Project to include 3 platform rail stations, the
downtown Fort Worth 9th Street Intermodal Center and
the Texas and Pacific Building terminal station.
Responsible for all architectural and engineering
design consultant contracts from design concepts
through construction administration as well as the
overall coordination with the main line engineering
design and construction team. Maintained overall
passenger station design quality control, compliance
with all governing codes and regulations including
requirements of an active freight line and monitored
schedule and budget for each station design within
the overall program. Key Liaison for property
acquisition, environmental assessments/remediation
and facility design interface between The Fort Worth
Transportation Authority, DART, TxDOT, AMTRAK, the US

for Regional Engineering and Maintenance Complex,

AVIATION and AIRPORT
Dallas/Fort Worth Airport: Project Architect for renovation of
American Airline Terminal D and Terminal E, to
include the main Concourse and Passenger Waiting
areas, and Food Concessions. A major component of
work was a total upgrade of the Baggage Handling
system. The improvements included all airside
facilities, MEP systems, fire protection, access
control, and handicap accessibility along with
passenger loading and boarding bridges. DFW, TX
American Airlines International Arrivals Terminal at D/FW Airport:
Project Design Architect for renovation of existing
facilities to create a new center for American
Airlines international arrivals. The work included
improvements to the Main Concourse, escalators for
better Passenger Movement and Processing and interior
design enhancements to the Waiting Areas and

Lubbock International Airport: Planner and Design Architect for
Airport Master Plan Update. The work involved a
facilities assessment and verification of existing
building conditions, a detailed review of the current
Airport Master Plan and numerous planning and program
meetings with the airport management and vendors.

AMR Services/Pegasus Aviation Properties: Design Architect for the
design and master planning for new International
Terminal at McCarran International Airport, Las
Vegas, Nevada. The new terminal would provide
docking for 8 aircraft, baggage claim areas,
ticketing, passenger waiting and vendor concessions.
A new international arrivals and security checkpoint
was located on the upper concourse level along with a
VIP Lounge and gaming area. Las Vegas, NV
Savannah International Airport: Project Manager and Design Architect
for Planning, programming and design for the new
Terminal Building to include all airside and landside
facilities, baggage handling, maintenance, physical
plant and passenger terminal and commercial
amenities. The hallmark of the new terminal was the
creation of the Food Court and Retail mall, The
"Savannah Square Concept". Savannah, GA
HIGHER EDUCATION
Tarrant County College District: Operations Manager
for $400 million, Five Year Capital Improvement
Program to include a new $200 million Downtown Fort
Worth Campus. The program also included a new $30
million Academic Building on the Southeast Campus and
over $50 million worth of Major Renovations, site and
infrastructure upgrades to the four existing
campuses. Prior to my role as Operations Manager I
served for two years as the Project Manager in charge
of all design and construction projects on the
original South and Northwest campuses. Tarrant

Married Student Housing on campus. This was the first
of it's for the University which was designed as walk-
up apartments or condominiums set in location with a

James L. West Alzheimer Center: Principal in Charge
of Project Management Services for the renovation of
the James L. West Center. The focus of the
modifications to the four story building is to
provide a complete update in response to new and
progressive care for dementia by changing the
original facilities "hospital" feel to an inviting
and "homelike" atmosphere. Entire suites will be
moved from floor to floor to better accommodate the
progressive stages of care and promote appropriate
resident interaction. The renovation included
interior improvements to commons areas, resident
rooms, family accommodations, doctors, nursing and
staff work stations, replacement of the mechanical
plant and upgrades to electrical and plumbing
systems. The design and construction was planned in
phases in order to respond to the needs for
uninterrupted 24 hour/365 day care. Fort Worth, TX
VA Nursing Care Hospital: Project Architect for
major renovation of the specialty nursing care center
for the Veterans Administration to include complete
upgrades on interior finishes, code compliance,
handicap accessibility, MEP systems, in-patient long
term care units, ambulatory care services,
counseling, administrative offices, food services,
mechanical plant and related building and ground
