Department Manager - Grocery and Dairy
Responsible for managing the Grocery and Dairy Departments with combined
annual gross revenue of $1,800,000. Other responsibilities include managing
vendor performance, shipping and receiving for the entire store, and
procurement of all non-perishable goods and Dairy merchandise. Manage
warehousing, inventory, and product turnover for Grocery and Dairy
merchandise to ensure minimal product loss due to expiration or damage.
Manage department staffing to insure adequate staffing levels, direction,
and discipline to fulfill store and service requirements while maximizing
productivity and minimizing labor costs. Train and develop staff by
administering and supervising established Fresh Market orientation and
