. Was promoted to Materials Manager shortly after Baldor Electric acquired
Reliance Electric. Due to a decline in business, Baldor closed this
facility down and I was transferred to Asheville, NC.
. Using SAP MRP system, with 4 direct reports and 7 indirect reports, we
manage all aspects of material flow for the manufacturing of large
industrial motors, which includes purchasing, scheduling, production
planning, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and those employees working
in these departments.
. Manage the supply chain; work with problem suppliers daily to achieve
quality parts and at least 95% on-time deliveries. Manage approx. $17
million spend budget annually.
. Identify new supplier sources and implement supplier changes where need
to reduce our total raw materials cost and improved quality of raw

. In the manufacture of vehicle seating at a Tier 1 automotive supplier to
Nissan, responsible for running MRP in the QAD (MFG Pro) computer system.
Report production daily using the JTDS (UNIX) computer system. Report
daily shipments and confirm shipments are reported correctly. Import
weekly and daily releases from the customer into our QAD (MFG Pro)
computer system.
. Run the weekly supplier release update. Correct all system issues and
resolve any problems with the accuracy of the releases.
. Ensure engineering changes are implemented according to the plan from
engineering and the supply base.
. Responsible for tracking and decreasing all premium freight for the
