Qualifications:
• 12 years experience in commercial and residential underground utilities.
• Experienced utility locator for water, sewer, storm mains, and taps.
• Journeyman operator including Excavator, Mini-ex, loader, backhoe, Cat
controls, Skytrack
• Skilled Pipe Layer and Trainer for Pipe Tradesmen.
• Certification in the following: Collections 1and Distribution 1 certification
for the state of Colorado ; Butt Fusion; Confined Space; and Asbestos
Removal.
• Able to perform hot taps for water and sewer; set vaults and meter with
bypass; worked with potable and non-potable system.
• Laser and manual grade checking; read blueprints; keep daily reports;
other tasks as assigned
Highlights of Experience:
12 years of experience in construction industry, working and overseeing
installation
of underground utilities for new and existing construction jobs for large schools,
churches, colleges and small side projects. One year experience locating water
lines, sewer mains and storms in order for contractors to proceed with completing
their job in a safe and timely manner. Performed Municipal Water District
projects by following the specifications requirements. Skilled Journeyman
Operator performing surgical digs as well as deep excavations. Successfully
trained twelve Pipe Tradesman, five who became Pipe Layers. Able to work large
crews while maintaining production and team morale. Able to reach production
goals for weekly quota on a consistent basis. Consistently established good
rapport with site superintendents, inspectors, contractors, and supervisors.
Experienced utility locator for City of Aurora, Colorado. Also in charge of
locating existing utilities for line replacement in large neighborhoods including
service lines to homes.
