GRIFFINS FOODS LTD. - Rochester, New York

A privately held $300m New Zealand manufacturer of cookies, cracker,

granola bars and snack foods.

Vice President - America's

2008-2010

As part of a start up venture I led the North America sales and operations

planning, marketing, and supply chain efforts for the premier New Zealand

snack food manufacturer. Responsible for developing all US, Canada and

South America Private Label sales and product development in the grocery,

mass, drug, club and specialty Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) channels.

Reporting to International President.

Key Achievements

> Strategic member of 5 person export team responsible for $80m

sales in 2009

> Developed successful private label programs with 3 retailers

totaling $3.5m within the first 12 months

> Prepared and delivered in excess of 50 sales presentations to

buyers, senior directors and merchandisers to retailers in all

channels of the FMCG trade

> Led all US new product development (NPD) projects with New Zealand

based product development team resulting in 8 products being launched

in fiscal 2009

A privately held $50m manufacturer of bacon, ham, sausages and deli meats.

2007-2008

In a contract capacity, I worked directly with ownership on the areas of

sales/marketing, product development, P & L, brand management, category

management/syndicated data and new acquisition integration. Led a team of

4 Key Account Managers, 25 field based sales representatives and 10

merchandisers with responsibility for selling direct to store as well as to

grocery retailers, cooperatives, wholesalers, quick serve restaurants, and

the foodservice/hospitality trade. Reported to Owner/Managing Director.

Key Achievements

> Developed, introduced and presented to buyers and category

managers 3 new products resulting in 100% acceptance. These products

achieved in excess of 80% distribution within 3 months of launch

representing over $750K in sales

> Created and launched an above the line product launch campaign

in conjunction with marketing partner. Campaign activities included

promotional planning, product sampling, print advertising,

media drops, and bus stop marketing

> Assisted with the integration of a newly acquired business

representing 11 products and sales of $1+m. Led the internal sales

integration and negotiated product pricing and terms with retailers.

> Introduced category management principals and syndicated data

practices to Premier Key Account Managers and Sales representatives
