OBJECTIVE:
To join a Professional Facility and to work with experienced Doctors and
Staff to obtain increased knowledge in the Veterinary field with a goal to
establish a long term working relationship.
QUALIFICATIONS:

handle stressful and upsetting situations.
. Great initiative, motivation, comfortable in asking questions, team

. Strength in canine and feline restraining for the care of hospitalized
animals, and medication injections. Efficient in jugular blood draws,
saphenous and cephalic. Also IV catheter placement.
. Animal prep for surgeries, (shaved and cleaned surgery sites on
animals, and restrained for sedation). Set up surgery room with
equipment, heating pads, instrumentation, and prepared surgery packs
for spays and neuters).
. Administered vaccinations, obtained fecal and cytology samples.
Provided bandaging after removing IV catheters or bandaging in general.
. Measure animals for radiology positioning.
. Proficient in medication counting, labeling and reading Doctors'
prescriptions.
Confident in easily acquiring new computer program Information.
. Dental prophylaxis and dental radiology.
. Calculating drugs/medications to give animals IV,IM,SQ, or Orally
. Certificates in Feline behavior (2006), Small animal anesthesia (taught
by Dr. Nancy Brock 2006), also have attended numerous seminars for
dentistry and the small animal conference in Ensenada.
. Hospital inventory (medical supplies)
. Safety Monitor (OSHA, meeting with the doctors to set up meetings)
. Supervisor (helped with training of new employees)
. Receptionist- Using multi-phone line system. Familiar with Cornerstone
and AviMark. Excellent PR skills and great SEE factors.
. Currently waiting to take my RVT exam in August 2010.
