Put-up optical, physical and electrical cross-connects at the LGX/DSX-3/DSX-1 panels, testing with the

carrier (Bell South) to turn-up, test and accept OC12s/OC3s/DS3s.

Captured and send daily logged-in activities into Alcatel 1671 DACS and FES 301 in Procom Plus to

Alcatel project managers.

Tested and turned-up Alcatel 1671 DACS and FES301 systems at Cingular Central Office in Miami

Florida for Alcatel. Installed software, provisioned matrix and ILC linkage to I/O from matrix shelf.

Central Office Technician.

Added a single point grounding system to the interior and exterior of Sprint Central Office buildings in

Kansas and Missouri. The single point ground system mostly comprised of five (5) ground bars:

MGB, GWB, GWB, NON-IGZI, MDFB,and CEGB. These are mounted inside the Central Office

(Maintaining continuity in reference to the cable-run list provided by engineering). After a locate has

been called in and approved, the outside of the building and the generator area is trenched per the

engineering drawings maintaining a distant of at least 30ins from the building, to a depth of at least

30 ins X 10ft, ground rod is placed every 10ft apart, then exothermically #2 bare-solid-tinned copper

is connected to the rods (Cadweld). Exothermically bonded to generator and fence to the ground field

and safety straps are placed around the 2 sides of the fence.

Measured and the ground field and recorded the resistance.
