Independent Agency Operator is a franchisee.
Responsible for the smooth operation of a location
for AVIS. Operated 3 stores for Avis/Budget group
until 2 were shut down due to change in company
policy. Duties included, Hiring and training of
new employees, Business development and marketing.
Payroll, accounts, inventory control. Fleet
maintenance while liaising with corporate fleet
department to coordinate special equipment
requirements. Daily business reporting and making
sure the fleet is equipped to meet the daily
requirements. Developed a satellite office at a
local dealership to meet their service requirements
for rental cars. The location grew at an average
rate of 17% under my supervision.

Responsible for the smooth operation of the
facilities. . Duties included customer service,
sales support, liaising with head office in UK and
R&D facilities in Berlin. Shipping/ receiving, A/R
and A/P, Payroll, Purchasing while maintaining the
company books. Was left in charge of the US
facilities for extensive periods and ran the
operations single handedly. Played a key role
during the buy out of Avrio to Afonics.

A privately held bottle manufacturing and water
bottling company with its own springs in Pakistan.
Started the company and was responsible for every
aspect of the concern. From preparing the business
plan, negotiating the loans, purchasing of plants
from Europe and USA, start up, setting up of
departments and procedures for marketing, quality
control, human resource etc. Overseeing the package
design to import of materials. Trained in
operating the UNILOY USB 100 PET stretch Blow
molding machine and all auxiliary equipment. Raised
over $10. Million for the corporation. Over saw the
construction and installation of the factory
project.
Responsible for hiring of employees at all levels,
including engineers, QA, Executive managers. The
employee strength reached 134 when the factory was
in full production.

Consultancy firm mainly dealing with environmental
projects in the third world countries and financed
by Asian Development Bank and The World Bank.
Responsibilities included contracts and contract
negotiations, general office management and
coordinating with, and providing support, to all
the experts in the field. Over saw the Pasni
Fisheries Harbor, an Asian Development Bank
financed project, from the Technical Assistance
stage to completion of project. Was instrumental in
choosing the right international contractor. The
project cost upon completion was $ 152 Million.
Maintained a library of resumes, resourcing of
manpower and material required in the field.
